Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and AstralMandala ("we") for your use of AstralMandala. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. Questions: hello@astral-mandala.com.

The service

AstralMandala computes Vedic birth charts and reads them to you in conversation. Some of it is free — the free kundli, your first reading and a number of questions each day — and some of it is part of Plus, a paid pass.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give accurate birth details for yourself, and save another person's details only when you are entitled to share them.

Plans and payment

Fair use means asking as a person would, not by automated means and not at a rate that burdens the service. We may slow or pause an account that does.

What a reading is

Vedic astrology is a tradition of interpretation, not a science, and a reading is for reflection. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional. Do not delay seeking help because of something a reading said. If you are in crisis or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line straight away.

We work to keep every reading faithful to your chart, but we do not promise that any reading or prediction is accurate or that anything will happen.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break its security, no scraping or automated access, no reselling readings, and no using it to harass anyone or to process someone's data without the right to do so.

Our content

The software, the design and the text of the readings' framework belong to us. The readings you receive are for your personal use; you are welcome to keep and share them.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where we can, we will tell you why first.

Liability

We provide the service "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the strength of a reading, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will say so on this page and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
